Family Charged for Pimping and Pandering
Paying someone or receiving money in return for sex is often charged as Prostitution or Solicitation for Prostitution in Castle Rock and Douglas County. However, there are more serious prostitution related crimes that a person can be charged with including Pimping and Pandering. A mother and son have been arrested for these crimes after they were accused of running a prostitution ring out of their apartment and separate home. According to the report, they would arrange appointments for men to come to either location and have sex with a woman. The mother and son would then keep a cut of the money received. Both were charged with Pimping and Pandering and the son received an added charge of Human Trafficking for Sexual Servitude.
